Jeff Connelly is a Senior Vice President in EPIC’s Greyling Insurance Brokers Division and is the Program Manager for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Business Insurance Trust (BIT) Program. He is based in the firm’s St. Louis, MO office.

Connelly specializes in the placement of Professional Liability, Executive Liability and other Business Insurance lines to Consulting Engineering firms across the country. Connelly came to EPIC from Marsh, Inc. where he was responsible for providing business and professional liability insurance products and risk consulting services to nearly 1,000 Consulting Engineering firms nationwide.

Jeff has over 30 years of experience successfully identifying and managing new business opportunities, including matching business owners across the Consulting Engineering industry with comprehensive, cost effective insurance and risk management solutions tailored to both their individual and business needs.

Jeff has strong client relationships among Consulting Engineering firms across the country.

Connelly graduated from the University of Missouri – Saint Louis with a degree in business. Professionally, he is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and he is currently completing the final module needed to obtain his RPLU (Registered Professional Liability Underwriter) designation.

Lee Ann Wheeler is an Account Executive with Greyling Insurance Brokerage. Wheeler specializes in the placement of Business Insurance Lines and Professional Liability to Engineering companies across the country including firms that are members of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).

Wheeler comes to Greyling from Marsh & McLennan Agency where she was a sales executive, responsible for providing business insurance and multi-faceted risk management plans.

Wheeler possesses over 17 years’ experience in the insurance industry specializing in medical malpractice and professional liability. She also works closely with State Associations to help set up comprehensive insurance and risk management programs to their members that are both cost effective and tailored to their needs.

Wheeler grew up in rural South Dakota and is a graduate of South Dakota State University. She serves on the board of directors of Heartland Consumers Power District in Madison, SD, and volunteers with Mission of Mercy, which provides dental assistance to families in need.

Kent W. Collier, J.D., CRIS, is Client Executive & Professional Services Risk Consultant at Greyling Insurance Brokerage. Kent provides day-to-day service to Greyling clients by identifying, addressing, and mitigating insurance and risk issues in the architecture, engineering, construction contracting and development, environmental and legal service fields. He advises clients on professional liability claim recognition and reporting, and he helps clients manage claims, including periodic review of outstanding and past claims. He is also responsible for drafting and negotiating professional service contracts.

Kent performs risk management consulting for clients including preparation and presentation of educational seminars, compilation and analysis of risk surveys, recommendation of and coordination with legal counsel, and answering various client questions concerning legal, insurance, and risk issues impacting the construction and engineering industry. He has experience presenting continuing education training to staff regarding risk management, contract negotiation, and insurance.

Prior to joining Greyling, Kent was a practicing attorney for over 8 years at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP in Atlanta, focusing on construction litigation and transactions. He represented architects, engineers, EPC and general contractors, owners, and specialty subcontractors in litigation across the country regarding issues such as insurance coverage, delay and lost productivity, construction defects, design errors and omissions, product liability, surety bonding, and lender liability on diverse projects including high-rise condominiums and hotels, casinos, power plants, industrial and chemical processing plants, civil and underground work, schools, and hospitals. He is a licensed attorney in Georgia, New York, and Florida, where he is a Board Certified Specialist in Construction Law. Kent was named as a “Rising Star” in Construction Litigation by Georgia Super Lawyers from 2012 through 2015.

Kent is a 2002 graduate of the University of Virginia and received his law degree in 2005 from Emory University. Kent is active in several industry organizations including the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). He is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction. Kent also holds the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation from the International Risk Management Institute (IRMI).

Roger Guilian joined Greyling Insurance Brokerage & Risk Consulting, a division of EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, bringing 24+ years of litigation and risk management experience to the Architects & Engineers team. In his role, Roger develops legal and legislative initiatives that are critical to large design firms and the construction community, provide risk avoidance and management consulting to Greyling clients and associates, and support Greyling’s expansion of the ACEC Business Insurance Trust program.

Roger Guilian entered the engineering and design professional space in August 2004 when he became General Counsel of Volkert, Inc., an ENR Top-100 civil engineering firm, after a rewarding and successful sixyear career in private practice. Prior to going in-house, Roger was an active litigator, trying dozens of insurance defense jury trials, and litigating hundreds of suits to favorable pre-trial resolutions. During 18- year in-house experience, Roger gained extensive experience and knowledge in matters affecting risk and legal exposure to engineers, their firms, and other design professionals, including contracts risk management, professional liability insurance, and defense of errors & omissions claims.

Roger is a 1995 magna cum laude graduate of The University of Alabama and a 1998 graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law where he excelled as an advocate on the Law School’s championship Trial Advocacy Competition teams. Roger is deeply engaged in industry and engineering associations through which he has cultivated a nationwide network of friends and colleagues in the design professional insurance and risk management space. Roger currently serves on the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Risk Management Committee, ACEC Business Resources & Education Committee, ACEC Management Practices Committee, and the American Bar Association’s Construction Law Forum. Roger served as a Trustee on the ACEC Business Insurance Trust from 2020-2022, was an active contributing member of the ACEC Legal Counsel Forum from 2007-2022, and chaired the Alabama State Bar Construction Law Section in 2018.

Roger is a member in good standing of the Alabama State Bar and the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.

Gregg Bundschuh is a co-founder and an equity partner of Greyling Insurance Brokerage. He is nationally recognized for his active role in addressing emerging issues that affect the construction, design, and development communities. He advises clients of the firm on their insurance programs and risk management strategies.

Gregg also provides guidance to industry organizations such as the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Gregg’s unique perspective on risk and insurance issues reflects his background as a construction lawyer, a general counsel to an international design firm, and an insurance broker and risk consultant.

Gregg’s experience includes design of customized insurance policies for risks associated with building information modeling (BIM) and integrated project delivery (IPD). He has developed insurance and risk management programs for domestic and international firms in a wide range of industries. In addition, he has spoken before dozens of national and international gatherings concerned with design, construction, risk management, and insurance matters. His publications include An Owners’ Guide to Construction Risk Management & Insurance; the insurance chapter of the New York Construction Law Manual; and The Design/Build Deskbook.

Prior to Greyling, Gregg was a senior executive and leader of the Global Construction Practice with Marsh Inc. Before that, he had been general counsel for an international architecture and engineering firm and had practiced construction law with an Atlanta law firm. He is a member of the board of governors and a fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers.

Gregg is a 1982 graduate of Wake Forest University and holds a law degree from the University of Georgia.

Bob Staed is a co-founder of EPIC’s Greyling Insurance Brokers Division. He is the Managing Principal of the firm’s St. Louis, MO office. He is responsible for developing new business and providing service to clients, primarily those headquartered in the Midwest and West. He currently serves on several committees of industry organizations such as the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and is a frequent speaker on the topics of insurance, contracts, and risk management.

Before joining Greyling, Bob spent the prior 13 years of his career in various senior leadership positions with HOK, one of the world’s largest design firms, where he had primary responsibility for legal affairs, risk management, and insurance. Among the positions he held are senior vice president; general counsel; corporate secretary; advisor to the board of directors of HOK Group, Inc., HOK’s global parent company; and senior principal, chief legal officer, and member of the management team responsible for running the day-to-day U.S. operations of HOK’s largest subsidiary, HOK Sport.

While with HOK, Bob’s large, complex project experience included Busch Stadium (St. Louis Cardinals), Citi Field (New York Mets), Heathrow Terminal 5, LAC + USC Medical Center, London 2012 Olympics, NFL Super Bowl, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Toronto Hospital Clinical Services Building, Wembley Stadium (London), and Yankee Stadium (New York Yankees). Prior to joining HOK in 1994, Bob was in the private practice of law where he concentrated his efforts on representing professionals in negligence-based claims. He also served from 1995 through 2000 on the Corporate Counsel Committee of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Construction.

Bob is a 1987 graduate of the St. Louis University School of Law. He also received an undergraduate degree in accounting from St. Louis University in 1984.

Lorrie Osterhage is a Senior Account Manager with Greyling Insurance Brokerage. She negotiates and places professional liability, executive liability and property/ casualty coverage for engineering firms of all sizes. She is experienced in the unique coverage needs of engineering firms throughout the country. Lorrie is also responsible for handling the day to day service needs of her clients and supporting the Client Executives.

Lorrie joined Greyling in December, 2017. Prior to that, Lorrie worked at Marsh for 32 years as an Account Manager for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Business Insurance Program which included six years as the Service Team Manager. Lorrie was responsible for providing the day to day service of executive liability, professional liability and business insurance coverage for Consulting Engineering firms nationwide.

Kevin Woolley is an Account Manager with Greyling Insurance Brokerage. He negotiates and places professional liability, executive liability and property/ casualty coverage for engineering firms of all sizes. He is experienced in the unique coverage needs of engineering firms throughout the country. Kevin is also responsible for handling the day to day service needs of his clients and supporting the Client Executives.

Kevin joined Greyling in 2018. Prior to joining Greyling, Kevin was with Daniel and Henry specializing in Executive Liability, Cyber and Professional Liability for small to mid-size businesses.

Kevin also worked at Marsh for 15 years exclusively on the ACEC Business Insurance Trust Program handling the insurance needs of engineering firms of all sizes throughout the country.

Sue Dashley is an Account Manager with Greyling Insurance Brokerage. She negotiates and places professional liability and property casualty coverage for engineering firms of all sizes and she is experienced in the unique coverage needs of engineering firms throughout the country. Sue is also responsible for supporting the Client Executives including claims and handling the day to day service needs of her clients.

Sue joined Greyling in 2016. Prior to that, Sue spent 33 years with Marsh exclusively working with engineering firms.
